One more week

So we have a little more than a week left to go. Lately, I have noticed more of the changes other people report, the swollen ankles (I can only wear tennis shoes or crocs), carpel tunnel (what’s a little hand numbness?), and I can’t wear my wedding band anymore, but besides that, I am doing okay. Still pretty active, planning to go walking with Jason and Picaso tomorrow morning if they don’t leave too early (I’ve heard it’s important to sleep while I can so I am trying to get extra sleep on the weekends). Jason has set up the nursery, we pretty much have the basics at this point, every thing but the baby! I am super excited to meet the baby, and especially to finally find out whether it’s a boy or girl. In the meanwhile, I’m trying to contain my instinct to clean constantly (instead, trying to relax more and enjoy a little TV). I haven’t been very faithful at listening to the hypnobabies CDs, but, at least I am listening to the pregnancy affirmations every day (with messages like “babies are born on their birth day, I will be patient.” Yes, I will try to be patient. In the meanwhile, I’ll ask Jason to finally post some updated pictures, and a pregnancy timeline will be coming soon (especially if it gets finished before the baby comes!).
